Selection Process

There are only 30 positions available for the 2009-2010 Leadership Pike County Program. So... don't hesitate... apply now!

An individual may nominate him/herself, or may be nominated by an alumnus, or board member of Leadership Pike County, Pike County Chamber of Commerce, or a member of the Chamber. Applications must be returned by September 5th to the Chamber office.

Leadership Kentucky strives to maintain a geographical, occupational, ethnicity, age, and gender balance among the 25 participants selected each year. Leadership Pike County is a competitive opportunity. Participants are selected based on their proven and potential leadership abilities, civic activity, concern for the community, volunteer leadership, and potential to help build a greater Pike County.

If chosen, tuition for the entire year is only $300. This fee is normally paid by your employeer, as you would be representing your company. However, individuals are welcome to participate in our program as well.
